Özet
One of the most important issues in the sectors of industry and service in the developing and developed countries is the lack of qualified intermediate staff. Efficiency and quality in the sectors of industry and service increase with the employment of “qualified intermediate staff”. As known, in our country “Vocational Schools” educate the intermediate staff with the required qualifications. Our study can be deemed significant to determine the expectations of the students who study in “Vocational Schools” from their education from these schools and the sector in the period of “Bologna Process” which has been established to create a higher education process fully compatible with European Union, and the future of a high quality education. The purpose of this study is to discuss the place and importance of vocational schools for the sector and to determine whether attitudes of the students of Beykoz University, Beykoz Vocational School of Logistics and Selcuk University, Vocational School of Social Sciences towards their respective fields of employment have an intermediary affect on their attitudes towards their education. With this purpose, An application has been applied to 550 students who study in Beykoz University which is a foundation university, Beykoz Vocational School of Logistics, and Selcuk University, which is a state university, Vocational School of Social Sciences. On the survey prepared to gather research data 45 statements involving their attitudes towards the job, sector, and their education.
