| Özet |
| An exact numerical procedure is developed to investigate the behavior of cell loss distribution of Convergence-Sublayer Protocol Data Units (CS-PDU) in ATM networks. We consider a finite queue with two arrival streams: one that corresponds to an individual source and another one to model the external traffic. The service time at the queue is constant, while the interarrival time distribution of the external traffic is Markov Modulated Bernoulli Process with batch arrivals. Furthermore, individual source is assumed to generate constant length CS-PDUs with Bernoulli distributed interpacket gaps. The numerical procedure is used to investigate the behavior of cell loss distribution in CS-PDUs with respect to the parameters of the external traffic and the size of CS-PDUs. |
