| Background: Motor and non-motor symptoms of Parkinsonism increase the disease severity and burden. This progressive disease disrupts the patient's functional independence, motor skills and quality of life.Objective: This study evaluated the balance, gait and the quality of life in early stage of the Parkinsonism and healthy individuals.Methods: The study included 26 idiopathic Parkinson's disease (PD), 14 progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) and 22 healthy controls (HCs). The Berg Balance Scale (BBS), Dynamic Gait Index (DGI) and the Parkinson's Disease Questionnaire (PDQ-39) were applied to all participants.Results: There was a significant differences between PD and PSP in terms of BBS, DGI and variables of PDQ-39 except “social support”(p< 0. 05).
