He graduated from the Department of Economics at Istanbul University's Faculty of Economics in 1992.
He received his master's degree in Economic Theory from the Institute of Social Sciences at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (ÇOMÜ) in 2000 and his doctorate in Business Administration, Management, and Organization in 2012.
He has participated in various training programs, both domestically and internationally, on Foreign Trade Specialization, Total Quality Management, EFQM Excellence Model, TSE-EOQ Quality Auditor, ISO 9001 Quality Management System Auditor, Mind Maps, Innovation Management, Project Cycle Management, and Quality and Accreditation in Higher Education.
He began his career in 1992 as an Assistant Export Manager at Dardanel. From 1993 to 1994, he worked as an Accounting Officer at the Çanakkale Branch of Bilgitaş AŞ. Between 1996 and 1998, he prepared and presented the programs "Economic Current Events" and "Economy and Humanity" on the local channel TON TV.
In 1998, he was appointed as a lecturer at ÇOMÜ Ezine Vocational School. Until 2006, he held various administrative positions, including ÇOMÜ Deputy Secretary General, Ezine Vocational School Deputy Director, and various commission/board memberships/president positions, combined with his educational activities.
During his doctoral studies, he focused on academic studies and conducted research on the measurement of innovation culture. With EU and TÜBİTAK scholarships, he conducted research at the Center for Competitiveness, UK (2009) and the IMP³rove Core Team/AT Kearney, Germany (2011), and received various training courses on innovation management.
Between 2014 and 2021, he served as Çanakkale Provincial Trade Manager and Researcher at the Ministry of Trade.
He serves as an independent project evaluator in various ministries, development agencies, and EU projects. He is a member of the KalDer Turkey Quality Award Executive Board (KÖK) and the Tourism Faculties Accreditation Board (TURAK), and provides voluntary support to civil society organizations.
He is among the experts representing our country on behalf of the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) on the ISO TC 279 Innovation Management Technical Committee. He is the Deputy Chairman of the TSE MTC 139 Mirror Committee.
He serves as a trainer/consultant in in-service training programs on Innovation Culture/Management, Management Quality, Strategic Planning, Project Proposal Development/Management, and fundamental Management and Organization topics in public and private sector organizations.
In addition to his teaching experience, he has presented papers at national and international academic congresses and has published book chapters and articles.
